Background:
Andy Gavin was born in the UK. He has been playing guitar for about 11 years. His first real band of note was the UK based progressive metal band "Venturer". Later he played for the melodic rock band "Rendezvous".
He quit guitar in 1993, but after a hiatus of eight years he started playing again in 2001. He has been teaching guitar on line but his current schedule means he does not alos
For recording he currently uses ESP M-II deluxe, Gibson '67 RI Flying V, Fender '62 Stratocaster and Gibson Les Paul '58.
