Jonathan Kreisberg says "Hello to my friends around the world, I hope that you are all doing well. This week I will be performing some shows around Denmark. Then it's back to the U.S. for gigs in NYC and Denver. I hope that you, your friends, relatives and/or livestock can come on out and say hi. Background:
Jonathan Kreisberg was born in New York City. he moved to Miami and at the age of 10 he began playing the guitar. At age 16 he was featured in Guitar Player Magazine. He attended the New World School of the Arts where he studied jazz. He won a scholarship to the University of Miami Jazz program.
After graduation, Jonathan played jazz gigs as well as fusion projects. He performed 20th century works with the New World Symphony under Michael Tilson Thomas. He also recorded a C.D. and performed extensively with progressive rock group Third Wish. He formed the electric jazz oriented Jonathan Kreisberg Trio, based in Miami.
Check out this CS particularly, Jonathan Kreisberg Trio, the 2002 release. Recorded in 1996, is a solo debut and features a performance of material in the studio and three tracks live.
In 1997 he returned New York moving away from fusion and focusing more on acoustic jazz.
