Background:
I first heard of Stu Box through Mike Varneys Spotlight column and feature in Guitar Player and also artivcles in Guitar World magazines. Born in Australia he started playing guitar in his teens, then studied at The Victorian College of the Arts in Melbourne. During his studies Stu began working on a double handed tapping technique. You can find out more about Stu by reading his biography.

Stu is an all round musician and also a designer. He has developed his own 12 string guitar to facilitate his playing Style. You can see or buy these 12 string guitar(jpg) behemoths from Box guitars. Like the Chapman Stick, you really need to see the guitar to see the awesome potential for the creative guitarist.

His experience and techniques have developed him as a versatile musician with great writing and improvisation skills. Over the years Stuart has played and toured with many bands which led to seven albums, available at Glass Records (visit Glass records for mp3) and full discography .
