Alex web site has been off line for some time but it looks like a new one is on the way.
Background:
Alex Stornello studied guitar rock and fusion at the Musician Institute in London, UK. He had leesons from Frank Gambale, which inspired him to develop his own style. He later attended the Guitar Institute in the Thames Valley University of London with Shawn Baxter. He obtained a diploma in guitar jazz/metal-hard jazz. He studied players like Scott Henderson, Mike Stern, Joe Diorio, Mick Goodrick, Garrison Fewell.
Since then he has over twelve years of experience producing guitar lessons in Italy and Europe including teaching in various schools in Italy and the Lizard Guitar Academy, where he developed the programs for guitar Rock/fusion and Jazz/fusion.
His group has has opened the concerts for a number of great players like the Chad Wackerman Group, Allan Holdsworth Group, Steve Vai, and Jennifer Batten.
