Background:
Jayash "Jay" Parmar is another of the upcoming UK based guitarists. Jay is a really big fan of George Lynch and this influence is carried through in his recordings. He has that touch that you associate with Lynch.

Other influences include Steve Vai, Jeff Tyson, Warren DiMartini, Michael Wilton and Chris DeGarmo, Steve Stevens, Joe Satriani, John Petrucci, Eddie Van Halen, Marty Friedman, Alex Skolnick, Chad Coggin and current Dokken guitarist Alex Derosso.

His current CD attributes include:
  • Strange Day – Jay Parmar (released in July 2005)
  • Will Play For Lynch – A George Lynch Tribute
  • In For The Kill - Wycked Synn (to be released)
  • ATribute to the Glory of 80's Metal - Guest spot on "Unchain The Night"
You should check out his web site for the cool "Lynchian" sounds and if your impressed check out his shop or buy the latest CD "Strange Day" from Guitar9.
