Wow...just been listening to the Patrik Carlsson, with the kids...lots of rocking going on! From his new project Melodic Travel...found a great track for fans of EA games number one smash hit Battlefield 1942...Check out track 2 Battlefield, a tribute based on Battled 1942's main theme...all I do is recommend you check it out pronto!

Patrik is in the process of recording the next album. He has already completed three songs

Patrik is recording 2 new albums, it may be a double-CD or 2 different CD’s. He also hopes to include a couple of other guitar players to ad to the mix. He is also looking for an artist to create images for the CD booklet.

Background:
Patrik was born in Norrköping, Sweden. He was interested in music from an early age, starting playing the piano from 5 years old. He later went on to play the drums after seeing a drummer in a place called "Marielunds fritidsgård".

After loosing his way he met Jocke Salinder, who inspired him to play and focus on music-theory song writing and recording. Later Patrik was influenced by Lars Boqvist who helped him focus on his picking technique.

After alot of self-searching and self-training he began to understand music theory. At about this point he heard Joe Satriani's album "Surfing with the Alien" and Steve Vai's "Passion and Warfare". The rest as they say is history.

He finally got contract with Lion Music to release his first Cd for the label, called Phraseology.
