Background:
Allen was born in Auburn, Alabama. He studied blues and R&B guitar over a number of years before moving into jazz and fusion. He attended Berklee College of Music and then went to Los Angeles to attend Musician’s Institute.
He is now on the staff at Musician’s Institute teaching jazz, blues, and rock with a “grassroots” style. He is also a successful session player playing with a number of well known recording artists and creating music for TV series like JAG. See his site for a complete bio.
Allen has released his first CD called "Fact of the Matter". You can hear samples of his music on monsterguitars.com or his music webpage or music.hooper.com You can also buy it on line.
