News:
14-01-2008:
Thanks to Blabbermouth: Brodericks the man for Megadeth...confirmed. But it's curtains for Jagd Panzer and Nevermore... Chris has commented on his status in his previous bands NEVERMORE and JAG PANZER as well as his latest gig: "I'm glad I have [the fans'] support in this. Unfortunately I will not be able to do any more shows with JAG PANZER or NEVERMORE because the extensive touring that MEGADETH will be doing. I wish them all the best and remain friends with both bands. I look forward to touring with Dave [Mustaine], James [Lomenzo] and Shawn [Drover] and will keep my eye out for [longtime Broderick fans]."... should be a walk in the park for the talented Chris Broderick!

MEGADETH's Sleepwalker":

08-01-2008:
Funny times we live in... Megadeth have reportedly hired ex-Nevermore member Chris Broderick as the replacement for lead guitarist Glen Drover....OK did we know Glen had left?! OK... Although the band, fronted by Dave Mustaine, has yet to confirm Drover's departure via its official web site, numerous postings on various message boards (including Megadeth's official forum) have suggested that Drover has left the band in order to focus on family life.

Total guitar say, what we knew already:
Broderick has been playing guitar since he was eleven and has been teaching for the last 15 years. He also has a degree in classical guitar music performance and is an accomplished in jazz improvisation and advanced music theory. In short, he is the balls on guitar.
