Julien Damotte: blue notes for you

26-02-2008:
Madonagun was founded on February 2007 by D.k (aka Thorgon), S.G (Sagoth), Julien Damotte ( Aka Jud@ ), and Fx . After 8 months of intense rehearsal they've found their singer Matt (Aka The Viking) on September 2007. Now the band is proud to announce they're working on their first EP.



The recording session is expected for the last week of February 2008. It will take place at the "+9 Production" studios in Paris. Six titles of a new Metal genre would be released:

1. Mad on a gun
2. Resurrect on the Rasor Edge
3. Against Myself
4. In the Middle Of Nowhere
5. Fallen Angel
6. The Willows Of Sorrows

Background:
Julien Damotte: was born in 1979 in Clermont-Ferrand, France. He got his first guitar at the age of 12 and his dad started by teaching him the basics of blues and rock. In 1992 he started having music lessons at his local music school. He also was in a couple of covers bands.

In 1998 he decided to improve his guitar technique using instructional videos by John Petrucci, Ritchie Kotzen, Paul Gilbert and Vinnie Moore. In 2003 he released an intrumental cd "Deep Inside" and is currently working on a second album.

He has also jammed with Freak Kitchen, Bumblefoot and Mattias Eklundh.
