Background:
Nat Janoff first influence and inspiration was Eddie Van Halen. He was already playing piano and then bass before he took up guitar.

After playing guitar for a number of years his second inspiration arrived...John McLaughlin. Nat Janoff began to play and study jazz. Nat has now moved on to his own unique "fusion" style of music.

Nat Janoff's debut album featured Matt Garrison on bass and Gene Lake on drums and was successful in getting his playing noticed. Then his second album teamed up with Jake Schwartz to produced an acoustic duo in the style of "Friday Night in San Francisco" by McLaughlin, DiMeola and DeLucia.

Nats current band is called Berkana and features a more jazz funk approach to playing. Check out his web site for mp3, video and shop or visit cdbaby for his CD's
