Background:
Takakazu Nakamura was born in Japan in 1987. He describes himself as a "New Age" guitarist. On his web site you can hear a number of clips of his playing.Also some upside down video?.

Takakazu Nakamura started playing piano when he was about 2 years old. He learned the piano in Japan and Italy for over 10 years. When he was 15 years old he began to learn rock guitar and music theory by himself. When he was 16 years he participated in the audition of the MI Japan sponsorship. He didn't get tit but he studied in MI Japan for half a year. At 19 he decribes himself as a new age guitarist. He has now studied in MI Japan for less than 2 years.

His playing guitar style incorporatesa lot of contemporary techniques like "8 fingers tapping" or sweeping, and string skipping.

Influences include: Brett Garsed, Greg Howe, T.J Helmerich, Richie Kotzen, George Lynch, Jason Becker, Tak Matsumoto, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Kiko Loureiro, Chris Impellitteri, Steve Lynch, Jennifer Batten, Van Halen, Jeff Watson, Paul Gilbert, Slash, Michael Schenker. He also likes a wide range of musical styles from Heavy Metal /Heavy Rock (specifically in the 80s), Jazz, Fusion, Classic, Pops, to Ethnic music.
