Alex Milella has been working on the English translation of his web site. On the Italian site you can now sign up to see videos and get guitar lessons from this master player.

While he's been doing this he's also been fufilling a number of sideman roles. However there's a great chance to see him with his fusion band on the "Alex Milella - Trio Fusion" August 3 - VDP International Meeting, Anfiteatro Lungomare Portavecchia - Monopoli (BA) Italy. If you can't make it seek out a copy of his CD "Light Shades"

I got my copy of "Light Shade"s from Jazzos. I was well worth the wait for fans of high quality fusion guitar. I highly recommend it to fans of Allan Holdsworth andScott Henderson.

Background:
Alex began his musical career at the age of 6, when he began studying classical piano. He started playing guitar at the age of 13. At this stage he was mostly self taught, but he wenton to obtain formal guitar tuition from the age of 18 at Siena Jazz, studying modern harmony jazz a

In July 1995 he completed a diploma of technical composition, arrangement and musical programming from the department of new technologies at the School of High Musical Improvement in Saluzzo.

He has since played with many musicians and in many musical styles. , of note is his recent CD release which indicates some of his stylistic representations, namely Allan Holdsworth and Scott Henderson.

To find out more check out his CD "Light Shades" - 2004 and mp3 , read the "All about jazz" review, or axe magazine review (PDF Italian) or buy the CD here
