blabbermouth news noted that video footage of DSG with David Shankle, performing at this year's Magic Circle Festival, which took place July 6-7, 2007 in Bad Arolsen, Germany. These clips are from "Magic Circle Festival Volume 1" double-DVD.

Background:
David Shankle rose to fame via his gig with Manowar, where he replaced Ross The Boss. He remained with Manowar from 1988 to 1995. He was represented and co wrote with Joey DeMaio on the gold album "The Triumph Of Steel".
When he left Manowar he then attended Roosevelt Music University in Chicago to study jazz and classical guitar. He now has more than a hundred students.
He has gone on to for mthe David Shankle Group (DSG). They released their debut CD "Ashes to Ashes" in June, 2003.
The album features a broad mix of heavy metal songs, speedy instrumentals, and epic ballads.
