An update on the Holdsworth show: THere are more bands Needed to Open for Alan Holdsworth.
"We have the pleasure to book legendary jazz rock fusion artist Allan Holdsworth!!! We are looking for several local bands/groups to play Saturday's show or Sunday's show. Jazz, Fusion, Metal Prog, Experimental,Improv The requirements are:
1. Promote the show heavily using flyers I give you.
2. Sell a min. of 50 tixs at $20 per ticket.
3. After you sell all presale tickets, you will be given 10 VIP tickets to keep the money for, so your group will get to keep $200 after you sell all 50 tixs!!!!

Cynic have abandoned plans to utilize Santiago Dobles for their upcoming tour. According to the band, "due to the commitment required for the reunion, it was mutually agreed that another guitar player would be better suited." A new guitarist has already been found and will be announced in the next couple of weeks. The rest of the group's lineup will consist of Paul Masvidal (vocals, guitar), Sean Reinert (drums, keys), Tony Teegarden (vocals, keyboards) and Chris Kringel (bass).
Cynic will embark on a three-week European tour beginning mid-June, without Santiago Dobles, which will include dates in U.K., Iceland, Holland, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Austria and Switzerland. So far the band has been confirmed for the Hellfest and Fury Fest in France, Hovefestivalen in Norway and Evolution Festival in Italy. More dates will be announced soon.

Santiago Dobles and Aghora, Day Six and DGM have been confirmed for the ProgPower Europe 2007 festival, set to take place October 5-7 in Baarlo, Netherlands. DGM will headline the pre-party, Aghora will play on Saturday and Day Six will open on Sunday. The festival billing is now shaping up as follows:

Aghora release a new song, "Atmas Heave" from upcoming CD, "Formless" on

Aghora's second album, "Formless" was produced in part by Neil Kernon and is scheduled for release 21st December 2006. The sound is excellent and Diana Serra's vocals, tracked in guitarist Santiago Dobles' home studio in Miami, are sounding rather excellent. Mixing was done by Neil Kernon, famous for his work with Dokken/Queensryche and Santiago Dobles. The band currently consists of:

Santiago Dobles - Guitar
Diana Serra – Vocals
Santiago Dobles is also set to play guitar on the upcoming reunion tour by Cynic! Santiago was one of Paul Masvidal's original guitar students.

Aghora and Santiago Dobles are still looking for a singer.
Background:
Santiago doble started playing guitar at the age of 11. As a teenager he studied guitar with Jae Valentine and Robin Stone.
At 18 he attended Berklee School of Music. While at Berklee he studied fusion guitar under the guidance of Robin Stone, Jon Finn, Mark White, Mashi Hasu and Bruce Bartlett.
Outside of Berklee, he studied guitar with Paul Masvidal and through correspondence with Derek Taylor and Derryl Gabel. He also studied sound engineering at Miami Dade College.
Santiago Doble has done session work in Miami Fl, Los Angeles, Ca. He produced, and wrote music for Aghora debut (1999) his bands 2nd release "formless". He is also working on a Solo album.
