Background:
Sam Bell, is a 19 year old from Chichester in the UK. He got hisis first guitar when he was 4. He played for pleasure until in 2005 he heard Yngwie J Malmsteen for the first time and his life switched around. Since then he's heard more and more great players from Speed Metal to Jazz/Fusion music.

Sam is currently doing a Professional Diploma in Music Practice and song writing, then he hopes to go to BIMM and graduate with a BA Degree in Guitar.

Since hitting the woodshed Sam has been inspired by Rusty Cooley to work on his picking, and practice hard and never give up!. Paul Gilbert inspired him to look at simple things in different way. Yngwie Malmsteen inspired me to look more deeply into classical music. Frank Zappa has inspired Sam to start writing scores, and learn more about composition! The positive spirit of Jason Beckers also pushes Sam to keep on working at his art!

Influences include: Jimi Hendrix, Rusty Cooley,Paul Gilbert,Frank Zappa, Van Halen, Yngwie Malmsteen, Jason Becker, Eric Stadler, The Enforcer, ClayMann, Micheal Romeo, Guthrie Govan, Bill Bailey, Ryan, Mark Knopfler.
