Background:
Michael D Rricketts joined his first band in the 1970s. In the 1980's he formed a band with Larry Krueger, Jeff Clark called "Hyper". They recorded several albums, the last being the 1995 "Happy Bottom Riding Club".
"Mike Varney" caught Michael playing at a NAMM show in New Orleans and featured me in the October 1984 issue of "Guitar Player" magazine.
Later he gave lessons, and taught music theory and guitar at the Thacher School in Ojai.
