Some more sad news. Canadian blues guitarist Jeff Healey died yesterday (Sunday 2 March) in a hospital in Toronto. He was 41 - last year he had surgery to remove cancer from his legs and lungs. Chemotherapy and radiation treatments were unable to stop the spread of the disease.

Healey lost his sight to a rare form of cancer as a baby. He first picked up the guitar aged 3, playing it across his lap, the unusual method he later became famous for.
