Michael Angelo Batio: guitar war 2008

This is a Guitar War notice for the Michael Angelo Batio Forum.

Rules:

*All Members & Guests are open to this event. Whether your a beginner or expert musician, or just dropping by this forum, everyone is allowed to enter this competition.
*You are only allowed to submit one track for entry. Must use Official Backing Track. Multiple tracks submitted will result in disqualification from the competition.

*Entries can be posted on Youtube, Rapidshare, or any file hosting or social networking site that is open to all viewers.
*Tracks will be graded by 3 judges who are selected by members of the forum.
*Each Track will be broken down into several categories ex. technique, cleanliness/consistency etc. Each category will be graded from a scale of 1-5(5 Being Highest) All scores will be averaged. The highest average is the winner. Remember to focus on all areas of your playing to achieve the highest possible score.
*Each contestant can request to see there analysis by the judges once the competition is over. This is not only a Guitar War, but a learning experience that will allow you to gather valuable critiques from others besides yourself.
*Looping of the track is unacceptable.
*Overlapping Harmonies and dubs can be used, and the entry doesn't have to be strictly one single guitar track.
*Please use common sense, This is a Guitar War not a vocal, trumpet, drums, or joke war. Please submit Guitar work Only! Majority of Track must include Guitar, external effects are okay to use as well.
*Deadline for all Entries will be August 15th.
