Background:
Doug, a British born guitarist has been playing professionally since age 15. He credits such players as Angus Young, Warren Di Martini, Eddie Van Halen, Yngwie Malmsteen, Eric Johnson, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, Gabriel Moses and Zakk Wylde to name just a few, as his biggest influences. Doug has been involved with numerous original projects in and out of the country, and has performed in diverse professional situations.

Doug's references include such diverse players as Gary Hoey and Mark Isham. He has recorded on projects that included Steve Lukather, Robin Ford, Elliot Easton, Carl Verheyen and more. These included movie sound tracks and HBO specials.

Doug is currently playing lead guitar, touring and recording with the Edgar Winter group. They have toured all over the country and played to hundreds of thousands of people with bands like Jethro Tull, Blue Oyster Cult, .38 Special, Fog Hat, David Lee Roth, Journey, Yes, Alice Cooper, BB King, and more. 2004 includes tours in Europe, United Kingdom, Japan, Canada and The USA.



Doug has also composed for television. He was Music Director and Composer for local Los Angeles TV show, "The John Kerwin Show", which featured comedy skits and interviews with TV stars from the 70's and 80's.
