Orest Dziatyk, aka Hawk, contacted me to let me know how busy he's been over the last 8 weeks! Like most of us into guitar he's managed to catch Buckethead, Manticora, Circle II Circle, John Olivas Pain, Joe Satriani, Uli Jon Roth and Yngwie Malmsteen live! Hawk's band Septer played a great show opening for John Olivas Pain, did anyone capture some of the show on video?
On the music front, Hawk has been asked to write and perform some guitar tunes for an upcoming film which is one of Hawks favourite pass times! More details in due course. In addition Hawk has been asked by Martin DeBourge of fabulous pipes band to write and perform on his upcoming CD. Hawk continues to progress his own instrumental work, with the aid of George Bellas.
