Greg Howe and Port City are offering the Port City 4x12 Wave Cabinet used on the Greg Howe European Tour, which is up for auction on Ebay to benefit the SPCA. (Society for the Prevention of Cruelty of Animals).

Port City 4x12 Wave cabinet loaded with Greg's choice of Eminence speakers:

The NEW Port City Wave™ Cabinet is truly a breakthrough in amplifier cabinet construction and design. This patented design is truly something special. The Wave is totally unique in its appearance however, the magic of this cabinet lies within. The Port City Wave cabinet is constructed with a 5-inch wide, 45-degree angle sound deflecting rear panel. This panel is dadoed on both sides of the cabinet for ultimate support. Internal sound waves are projected from the back of the speaker down to the bottom of the cabinet where another 45-degree panel projects sound waves towards the front of the cabinet. A 1 1/8 inch angled port runs the width of the cabinet and projects these sound waves out towards you.

Not only do you hear the sounds from the speakers, you also hear the sound normally "lost" inside your cabinet. This design results in a much more responsive and louder cabinet. All proceeds will go the the SPCA...The mission of SPCA International is to raise awareness of the abuse of animals to a global level, to teach and foster good pet parenting practices, and to promote spay and neuter programs around the world with the goal of eradicating the need to euthanize healthy and adoptable companion animals.

We accomplish this mission through both internal and outreach programs, and by supporting shelters already working to achieve these goals.

Here are the details for the aucion:

This auction is open for residents of France, Italy, Belgium and The Netherlands. (No EXCEPTIONS as the cabinet is currently in France!) Unfortunately, all bids from residents outside these countries will be cancelled.

In addition:

Greg and his band will be performing Friday, January 16th at Tone Merchants, which is located 5 minutes from the Convention Center in Orange, CA. Opening for Greg will be Dave Weiner of the Steve Vai band.

Show starts at 8:00pm and Greg goes on at 9:00pm. You definitely don't want to miss this performance as Greg and Dave will jamm with a very special guest at the end of the show.
