Allan Holdsworth: the van halen holdsworth jam

News:
19-05-2008:
This is a sound track only clip. Apologies for the poor sound quality and no doubt Allan Holdsworth would shudder to think it should be posted at all. But for the record of history, it must be heard. This was recorded at the Roxy sometime in the early 1980's

Terry Syrek: in the dead of night

News:
19-05-2008:
Wow! this is such a cool video, so glad to see Terry posting some video on YouTube, This guy is incredible...Don't forget to get a copy of his 2005 release "Aum"

Terry says:
Hi. My name is Terry. i play guitar. Some of you may know me, some probably not.

i decided, after much deliberation, to post a clip of me improvising. Not in some explosion of narcissism, mind you, but primarily because i have a degenerative condition in my hand called focal dystonia. It gradually robs me of the use of my left hand and i'd like to make as much music as i can and get it out there as i'm not sure what i'll be able to still do, year to year.

i love music so much, and guitar, that i've tried my best to adapt techniques to allow me to continue to express what i hear.

Hope some of you out there dig the clip. Stop by www.myspace/terrysyrek for some of my music and say hi.
