Guthrie Govan: suhr clinic

Guthrie Govan, in support of Suhr, took a trip up the east coast of the U.S. to demo and promote their guitars. This guitar clinic was less teaching about guitar playing and explaining and showing the different features of the guitars in Suhr's arsenal. We still got lots of tasty playing, though.

This was recorded at Chuck Levin's Washington Music Center in D.C., on July 22nd, 2009. As my camera only records clips that are about 1:30 long, I couldn't get the whole song (but at least one other person said they recorded each of his songs in their entirety), but this isn't bad.

As my camera only records clips that are about 1:30 long, I couldn't get the whole bit of his explanation, but in this clip he's basically demonstrating how you can select different pickups in conjunction with one another on the guitar to get different sounds.
