Richie Kotzen: Peace Sign, Edinburgh 20.10.09

JohnnyKwango about Glasgow gig:
Yeah Richie was awesome, first time I've seen him live and his skills were on display. I thought the turnout, in terms of numbers, was disappointing but the crowd were great and very vocal in their appreciation for Richie. The sound in the venue was a little muddy, but Richie and the guys were a powerful force. Highlight of the set for me? Hard to choose between A Love Divine and Faith, both were sublime.

Richie Kotzen - Peace Sign, Edinburgh 20.10.09

These were just a few of the highlights from this great 1-hour 30 minutes of pure guitar genius with not an ounce of ego in sight.

It’s not that often that a musician of the calibre of Kotzen visits these shores, (it's been five years since he was last in the UK), never mind play the hallowed stage at Trillians, but tonight these two events became one.
Now on the final leg of the UK stage of his tour, Kotzen has wowed crowds up and down the country. Tonight it was Newcastle’s turn to witness the guitar players guitar player, along with bassist David Filice and drummer Demian Arriaga.

Performing a set that featured songs covering his more recent solo outings 'Go Faster', 'Into The Black', 'Mother's Head' and his latest release, 'Peace Sign'.
