Lyle Workman: new cd available

Guitar9 have Harmonic Crusader available for purchase.
Harmonic Crusader is Los Angeles based guitarist, film composer and producer Lyle Workman's new solo CD for 2009, a follow up to "Tabula Rasa". The new album features an all-star line up with Vinnie Colaiuta, Gary Novak and Simon Phillips on drums. Jeff Babko and Larry Goldings on Keyboards, and Jimmy Johnson and Mike Elizondo on bass. Lyle’s music has been widely distributed since his debut on the eponymous "Bourgeois Tagg" album in 1986, and also known to Todd Rundgren fans as the lead guitarist on Rundgren's albums "Nearly Human" and "2nd Wind". Beck Hansen’s live audiences saw Workman perform as the lead guitarist on Beck's tours from 1999 to 2001, and Workman toured with Sting on his 2006 Broken Music Tour beginning with the Live 8 concert in London. Lyle has also worked extensively with Frank Black, and as a studio musician in Los Angeles appears on many rock and pop albums and film soundtracks. Workman composed the music for the hit comedies "Superbad", "Yes Man", "Forgetting Sarah Marshall", and "The 40-Year Old Virgin". Workman released his first instrumental solo album, "Purple Passages", in 1996, and was well reviewed among musicians with XTC's Dave Gregory calling Workman "a musician of consummate skill, creativity and taste"

Kostas Karamitroudis: gus g all metal interview

OK just flown in from Frankfurt... what a journey... security is high tonight! This is a photo from the Musikmesse... I missed the live show... sorry!

Gus G says:
I’m very pleased with what we achieved and the package we put together, considering the time pressure and world tour in between as well as considering the budget we had for this. This release has pleased all our fans from what I heard at least and it made me very happy. It’s definitely a very cool moment for us.
