Tom Quayle, Rick Graham: 3 day master class now booking!

Tom Quayle:
On August the 12th Rick Graham and I will start our 3 day workshop/extended masterclass session for up to 15 guitarists. The course will run from the 12th-14th of August. This annual workshop ran last year with great success and was a thoroughly enjoyable weekend with tons of playing, learning and eating/drinking! This year promises to be even better with a completely new line up of topics in the rock/fusion genre ranging from technique development, creating your own sound, moving from rock to fusion, advanced timing concepts and improvisational techniques plus many others. There will be lots of playing and jamming opportunities and as last time, every attendee will go away with a CD packed full of all the material taught in PDF form with video examples, mp3 backing tracks and licks galore. We have a purpose built school designed for teaching groups, with superb facilities and gear on hand for you guys to use.

Tickets for the 3 days are £250 which represents superb value for money as lessons run from 10am to 5pm every day with lessons taught by both Rick and myself each day. Payments can be made in one lump sum or over 3 payments with the first payment securing your place on the course.

Saltaire is beautiful part of the world and has world heritage status as a historic town set in the heart of Yorkshire with art gallerys, superb bars and restaurants and some of the best beers and curry you could ever wish for. There are some great hotels to suit all budgets, within walking distance of the school and we arrange social events for each evening. Last years attendees became friends for life and learnt as much from one another as from Rick and I.

The level of the course is upper intermediate to advanced with a basic knowledge of major scale modes and 7th chords a minimum requirement. A reasonable technical control of the instrument and a willingness to play with other guitarists is a bonus too.
If you have any questions at all feel free to contact me at tomqguitar@gmail.com for information, to book your place or get advice when booking hotels in the area.
