Jimi Hendrix: Memorial Concert and Art Show

The Annual Jimi Hendrix Memorial Concert and Art Show is a world class celebration of Music, Art and Community, presented by the biological family of Rock Legend Jimi Hendrix & sponsored by the Hendrix Music Academy, a Non-profit 501c3 Educational Charity.

National and local musicians and artists will perform on stage, at the newly established Jimi Hendrix Park in Seattle, to pay tribute to Seattle’s own son, Jimi Hendrix. The pedestrian friendly, family friendly outdoor music and art festival features live musical performances from outstanding national and local musicians, live mural art painting, art show, guitar show, crafts, kids activities, and food from the central district where Jimi Hendrix was born and raised. General Admission is FREE!!

This year’s event is very special, as we are excited to announce the addition of the Jimi Hendrix Memorial Art Show and Guitar exhibit. The rock legend’s younger brother, Leon Hendrix will perform live in concert, along with the world renowned King of Jimi Hendrix Tributes, Randy Hansen. Jim Matthiessen, of the Hempfest Headliner band the Herbivores, will perform Reggae, and a few songs from his new all acoustic album, River Road, live in concert!

Thousands of fans from all over the world are expected to flock to Jimi Hendrix Park on the last weekend of Summer, to be part of the event honoring the Rock Legend, Jimi Hendrix. Each year, more than 14,000 fans visit Jimi’s grave! Local, national and international press will be on the scene to document this historic event in Seattle.

The patron (Ultra VIP) section of the memorial concert will include seating under a private tent in the backstage area, & food and beverages. Our special patrons and sponsors will also be able to meet and greet Leon Hendrix and the other performers
