Eastwood Guitars introduces the new Airline ’59 1P
The new Airline ’59 1P has just been introduced by Eastwood Guitars and it is going to turn some heads. Eastwood has taken the top selling Airline ’59 model and stripped it down to the bare essentials. If you’re familiar with Airline’s popular 2P and 3P models, the first thing you’ll notice is the row of volume and tone controls, and pickup selector is gone, leaving a clear pathway for power chords or strumming. The new ’59 features a single pickup and volume control that delivers everything from crystal clear roll off tones to full on power crunches, Eastwood has created a rock’n’roll machine.

The Airline ’59 1P is a 25 ½” scale guitar with a bound Maple neck, Rosewood fingerboard and block markers bolted-on to a toned chambered Mahogany body with rubber body binding. The TonePros® Locking Bridge and Wilkinson Deluxe hardware offset the clean vintage pin stripped pickguard. The high output Airline Vintage Voice Single Coil is controlled by a quality volume control that delivers a direct single path to your amp with no loss. The Airline ’59 1P is available in black or red and a left hand version is already in the works. It comes with a deluxe custom Airline Hardshell Case.
"There is just something about this guitar that screams out PLAY ME!" said Mike Robinson, President and founder of Eastwood Guitars, "The black Airline ’59 1P with the white binding has quickly become my favorite in the Airline lineup, both for its sleek, stylish looks and its incredible tone."
