In March 2011, the first Jason Becker’s Not Dead Yet Festival was held in San Francisco, a fundraising event to support Jason Becker’s 22-year battle with ALS and general research into the disease.
TruthInShredding.com’s Laurie Monk and Kris Claerhout traveled to San Francisco to help and were inspired to take the event to Europe.
