Gary Moore: The Mail provides some insight into the last few hours of Gary's life

Dazzling sunshine bathes the terrace where the guests take breakfast in one of Andalucia's most luxurious hotels. The mountains of Africa shimmer on the horizon across a postcard-blue Mediterranean. The well heeled clientèle of the five-star Kempinski resort on the Costa del Sol are enjoying the luxury of dining al fresco in the second week of February. But one guest seems utterly at odds with the picture of leisurely indolence. Petra Nioduschewski sits alone. Her head is bowed, as she clutches a mobile phone to her ear, her face pallid and her eyes red-raw. The statuesque blonde never walks the nearby beach or uses the hotel spa or its three outdoor swimming pools...

Despite having an estimated €23million income from his two London-based companies, Moore was only giving himself a yearly wage of €44,000 at the time of his death - €15,800 from Bonuswise and €28,200 from Orionstar, from a combined annual turnover of €1.76million.
His guitar collection, including his cherished Les Pauls, was valued at around €235,000.
Then there was the Hove house he shared with Petra, believed to have been bought last November for €600,000.

Alex Milella: new top of the line CD in the works

Alex Milella produced one of my top fusion albums of 2004. Light shades is full of top quality legato fusion, with a real sense of quality and taste, with overtones of Scott Henderson and Allan Holdsworth, coupled to top notch guitar tones and  excellent production that stands up today. I'd certainly recommend it to fusion fans.

You can buy http://www.alexmilella.com/English/Discography.htm, including ebay

Mean time Alex Milella has been working on a follow up release.

Rob Chappers: Holy Fire gets the Chapman Ghost Fret treatment

The song "Holy Fire" is written and owned by Robert Chapman. I am playing my Chapman Ghost Fret. I'm just trying to get my latest tune "Holy Fire" to the point where I can cut it all live at my next recording session ;-) It's hard work but I'm getting there

Working on "Holy Fire" for my next recording using my Chapman Ghost Fret

Joy Basu: Post Depression

Joy Basu is the eponymous debut instrumental hard rock 'n' shred CD by this Calcutta-born, California-adopted guitar powerhouse. The ten tracks feature funky rhythms, ear-piercing industrial sounds, aggressive and exotic lead work and grinding dropped-D tunage. Basu can also dish out his own spicy brand of wailing blues, as on the song "Junior's Awake", which features a thoroughly high-tech solo. Feel, speed and technique rolled into one guitarist--Joy Basu is one record all fans of instrumental guitar should check out. http://www.guitar9.com/joybasu.html

According quick test of my new pedalboard. In this example I'm using a Fuzzyland again summed with the MG Music ZVEX a Box of Rock and using two delays, a DD-3 as ambiance and a Boss DD-7 as the playback of a clean base engraved with a Rocktron Deep Blue chorus and one of the MXR Super Comp.

Stefania Daniel: Seven Stringer Out of Seven The Hardway

We wish Stefani Daniel all the best on her guitar playing since the recent announcement that she is no longer in Seven The Hardway, the band set up by Tony MacAlpine. Looks like the title of the band seems to be a little prophetic!

Stefania Daniel:
I'm sorry to inform you that I'm not working with them anymore, I am back home in Argentina now.

I will keep you up to date with the new projects that Stefania is working on.

The lastest understanding from the interwebs is that Nili Brosh will take over the role undertaken by Stefania Daniel.
