And here's my latest track to make it to the new album, this time the title track. Things are progressing nicely in the recording of the album, so I am hoping I can have the full process completed sometime around November, so it can be released by the end of the year, early next year tops.
Guitars used are the Jaden Rose black limba Fanned Fret 8 you may know from previous videos, and a new addition to the fold, namely a zebrano top Blackat Ninja, which I call "the brick" due to the back being quite the slab of ash. :P
The Jaden is fitted with a pair of Vintage Vibe pickups voiced in the line of my trusted DiMarzio D Activator 8's, whereas the Blacakt has a pair of BKP Nailbomb 8's - liking them more than the 7-string version, that's for sure.
The whole thing is recorded via my Presonus 22 VSL, fed by the Kemper Profiling using models of a DV Mark Triple6, Silverblade Hellhound, Laney Ironheart, Marshall 1987X and a Bad Cat, either direct or into the excellent Matrix GT1000FX power amp feeding the Zilla 2x12", mic'd with a Shure SM57. The "posh hairband" things on my necks are Gruv Gear Fretwraps and the picks are assorted units from both SIk Pik and Hufschmid guitars.
