Käyttäjän OssiMaristo: Allan Holdsworth - Bathsheba Solo

This is a Brecker Brothers cover song by M.V.P (Mark Varney Project). This song is from their album Truth In Shredding (oh yes!!). This is the best solo from Holdsworth I've heard so far.

DelgiftC08: Stereotypes

Here's another short instrumental with a few time signatures in it for you. A great tune to play after you figure out what works and what doesn't. There's a lot of temptation to play many drum fills here - and a few years ago I would have done so. Now I'm content to just groove a bit more and give C room to play. The two choruses with the upbeat feel are little traps that would catch a lot of drummers "overplaying" and completely losing the "airborne feel" of the chorus. I don't even crash on the first chorus, I wait until the second. Thanks to C for the invitation to play on this project. Tough little tune. I'm sure I threw out 90% of the stuff I tried on this one. ;)

Brett Stine: Haji's Kitchen - 2012 - new release details

RELEASE DETAILS: or... "Where and When can I get this $%&^#ing Album Already!"

DIGITAL (download) release will be JUNE 19 on, (.de, .uk, .fr, .jp, etc) and iTunes (also should be all countries).

PHYSICAL (pretty plastic jewel case full of sweet artwork, lyrics and a shiny silver disc) release will be *about* a week after that on only. I'm told they ship everywhere in the world for a reasonable price. We pressed 1,000 discs.. when they're gone, they're likely to be gone forever, so if you want one you should jump in. I'm supposed to pick them up here in Dallas early next week, and I'll get them shipped off to cdbaby's warehouse in Portland later that day. Be patient.. there may be stock interruptions until CDBaby gets the rate of demand figured out, but if our stock actually starts to get low, I'll let you all know here. I'll post updates when I get them picked up & shipped!

Final mixed, mastered version. "2012" releases June 19!

Keep an eye on for info & updates!

Jude Gold,Jason Becker: original Peavey signature given a run out!

Wielding Jason Becker's original Peavey signature model guitar (on loan from Jason), guitarist Jude Gold plays Becker's great solo on the David Lee Roth song, "It's Showtime," from the 1991 Roth solo album A Little Ain't Enough. (This clip was filmed at a soundcheck in a bar the night before Jude performed the song at the sold-out "Not Dead Yet" Jason Becker benefit concert at Slim's, San Francisco, March 2011, at which Becker was in attendance.) RIG: Mesa/Boogie Stiletto Deuce through a Marshall 4x12 cabinet.

The famous Becker solo starts at 0:15.

Filmed by Edward Studebaker

From Wikipedia: A Little Ain't Enough is the third full-length album by David Lee Roth (of Van Halen), released in 1991. It was certified gold on April 11, 1991. Produced by Bob Rock, the album featured the lead guitar work of Jason Becker, a then up-and-coming guitarist who was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS, aka Lou Gehrig's Disease) a week after joining the band. He managed to finish recording the album, but was unable to tour in support of the album, as his condition left him with little strength in his hands.

a little very rough mix of drums performed by Atma Anur for the upcoming Tri-Head CD, and the 'scratch' tracks made just for tracking drums. for sure you can get the idea of where this is all going!
