when Bryan was 13 or 14 he started listening to the Shawn Lane Live in Malmo bootleg, and from that point he started really working his physical chops.He also has peculiar, double-jointed hands and very non-standard left and right hand technique and positioning, but it obviously seems to work for him. Also because Bryan got his technique together on acoustic guitar first, his articulation is very strong.... fluid but with a heavy sense of articulation
