Dean Markley Debuts “Mean Darkley” Video with GearTunes Campaign
GLENDALE, ARIZONA OCTOBER 1, 2013 – In the spirit of Halloween, Dean Markley has teamed up with GearTunes.com to launch the “Month of Mean Darkley”. During October, GearTunes will roll out new audio demos of Dean Markley products. These demos will coincide with daily Dean Markley gear giveaways and provide consumers the ability to purchase Dean Markley product from authorized dealers directly online. The campaign will be accessible at www.GearTunes.com and will run through October 31.
Using a light-hearted approach, Dean Markley seized the opportunity to kick off the Holiday season with a different and unique perspective. The new “Mean Darkley” video features Orianthi (Alice Cooper, Michael Jackson), John 5 (Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie), Piggy D (Rob Zombie) and Doyle Wolfgang Von Frankenstein (The Misfits, Gorgeous Frankenstein) in full stage attire and Halloween flare. In addition to supporting the GearTunes promotion, the video also launches a new series of artist driven videos that will debut throughout 2014.
GearTunes is a robust demo website launched by industry veteran Doug Doppler. He created the website to help musicians sample a wide variety of products and then purchase items through links to authorized dealers.
