Cort Guitars Works With Guitar Sensation Hedras Ramos Jr.

OCTOBER 21, 2013 - To help promote their product line, Cort Guitars has been searching the world over for the next guitar sensation. They have found it in Hedras Ramos Jr., a young Guatemalan who has already been making a splash of his own. The two initially teamed up for a clinic tour throughout Latin America last August. The clinics were held at exclusive authorized Cort dealers in Guatemala, Mexico, Peru and Argentina allowing fans and musicians the opportunity to meet Ramos and try out the extensive line of Cort Guitars.

Years of intense practicing and dedication have paid off for the Guatemala based Ramos. In 2009, he took 2nd place in the international Guitar Idol, held in London at the age of 17. He was the youngest of the finalist and that success led him to numerous product endorsements and playing opportunities. Noted guitarists such as Jennifer Batten and Andy James have made guest appearances on his CD’s, he has now shared the stage with Switchfoot, Kansas, and Guns and Roses and the video game Rock Band teamed with him to release his own version of the game. In 2011 Sir Christopher Lee, noted for his acting role as Count Dracula and Lord Saruman in Lord of the Rings hired Ramos to take on lead guitar duties on his latest album, Charlemagne: The Omens of Death.
