It is only two weeks to go to the 2014 National Learn To Play Day (NLTPD), which takes place on Saturday April 12th and promises to be even bigger and better than the previous year. With more than 110 shops set to take part all over the UK there are lots of places to go for a FREE taster music lesson, join in the fun, meet a whole host of celebrities, musicians, and local dignitaries and take advantage of special on the day promotions.

The event is organised by Music for All (MFA), the charity of the UK musical instrument industry, with the aim to inspire anyone and everyone, young or old to start learning to play a musical instrument. MFA Ambassadors include artists such as Evelyn Glennie, Ian Paice (Deep Purple), Rick Wakeman (Yes), Glenn Hughes and Patron Jools Holland who commented ‘I am delighted to lend my support to the National Learn to Play Day and help MFA in their quest to inspire more people to participate in music making.’
