After a few emails, I've produced a wee video of how I create the slap bass riff in the song 'Imposcar' from the new Zipper Tongue album, 'Above All Noise'.The album can be purchased on

I plugged my custom MJS guitar into a Barber Tone Press compressor, then into the Electro Harmonix 'Ring Thing', then through my bypassed providence Flame Drive into a wee Vox mini practise amp.That's more or less what i used on the album recording, except I used my Rivera M60 amp.When I get a bit more time I will do a proper tutorial on how to play the slap riff as well as a demo of the fantastic 'Ring Thing'.Again my thanks to all of you who have supported Zipper Tongue.
