La Grooverie is a funk-jazz quartet in which the groove and the funk rhythm is the quintessence of the project. Formed in 2013 after a meeting in a jam in Brussels, Ignazio, Colin, Alexis and Lucas started to play together in order to mix their common influences based on Jazz and Fusion bands like Chris Potter underground and Dave Weckl band.
The results is a powerfull mixture in which the Classic Jazz lives with a modern Rock sound.
