The long time session and touring player for Frank Gambale, Joe Satriani, and Steve Vai, gives an intro into creating simple and usable harmonies on the bass. Stu shows that by separating the 3rd by an octave, players can create '10ths' for a clear chord sound even in the low register. Stu is using the EMG 35CSX.
