The Uros Spasojevic Project represents the product of the long-lasting idea of the bassist Uros Spasojevic to find and bring forth his inner musical voice through original compositions. The basic idea of this project is a different concept of understanding a bass guitar, which presents an unconventional role, in a different light, for the instrument, as the leading melodic and solo voice with the elements of polyphonic playing and improvisational logic as the most characteristic feature.
This provides an interesting and diverse sound, with the unconventional approach of playing and performing, but at the same time the emphasis is on the melody (and musicality in general) as its most important feature. The compositions are composed and arranged for a trio with the aim to direct the attention to basic music elements, melody and harmony, so that the creativity of all performers could be fully expressed.
The first 10 CDs sold will be autographed by Uros himself.
