GUITAR GOD FULFILLS PROMISE! JOE BONAMASSA PERFORMS A SPECIAL ONE OFF FREE CONCERT: MR. KYPS IN POOLE, DORSET
Guitar legend Joe Bonamassa fulfils a promise that he made 10 years ago and performs a special UK concert, celebrating the 10th Anniversary of his first-ever UK show. On November 1st 2015, Joe will play Mr. Kyps in Poole, Dorset, the same venue where he played his first ever UK concert back in 2005.
In 2005, venue owner Mark Kyprianou (Kyp) was approached to host Joe’s first ever UK concert, As Joe was an unknown, the concert was a slow seller. In a final push, Kyp decided to offer free entry and refunds to those few who had originally paid the £10 ticket. Only around 100 people attended the concert, but those who were there were stunned by Joe’s dynamic and virtuosic playing. Today, 10 years later, Joe is playing concert arenas around the globe!
Kyp and Joe formed a lasting relationship over the years. Says Kyp, “I’m very excited to host this one of a kind concert. No major artist at the level Joe is would do this for his or her fans. Joe made me a promise he would return, and is a man of his word!”
No UK fans can apply for tickets to this special free concert from this dedicated web link - http://jbonamassa.com/contest/2015/mr-kyps-free-concert/.
The concert dovetails Joe Bonamassa’s 8-date October 2015 UK tour. Tickets are available from www.eventim.co.uk or 0844 493 6666. Read the UK tour press release - www.noblepr.co.uk/Press_Releases/joebonamassa/uktour2015.htm.

Orange Amplification Presents The Orange Micro Dark
Well, You Did Ask For It… http://orangeamps.com/micro-dark
Responding to thousands of customer requests, Orange Amplification is delighted to present the Orange Micro Dark. This new pint-sized valve/solid-state hybrid head joins a well-established dark brotherhood that includes the Dark Terror and Dual Dark amps. Cowled in smoky black, the Micro Dark shares the same intuitive Shape control as its older siblings, sporting a deceptively simple layout, which disguises the amp’s cunning versatility. Hidden beneath the Micro Dark’s exterior is a wealth of sophisticated and assured tones courtesy of a new 12AX7 driven, high gain preamp. These range from classy and clean, to brash and mean, with more than enough grunt to satisfy the most observant disciple of distortion. Coupled with a solid-state power section capable of 20W of output and shocking levels of volume, the amp can be paired with any 8-16 Ohm speaker cabinet. Whatever the situation, the Micro Dark never fails to make a mockery of its miniature frame. Other features include a transparent, fully buffered effects loop and headphone/line output with Orange’s signature CabSim circuitry - ideal for recording. With its matching PPC108 speaker cabinet, the Micro Dark makes for a perfect portable practice rig which also mics up superbly in the studio. To properly shake things up however, plug into a full sized Orange PPC412 and unleash the full potential of this remarkable micro amp head. Nico Santora of Suicidal Tendencies agrees: “I’ll never forget when it was first shown to me, I was just like, ‘Wow, I’ve never seen a micro amp THAT small’. And then we plugged it in… and I literally lost my mind with excitement. The Orange Micro Dark is about to take over band practice. I’m able to plug into a full 4×12 cabinet, and it feels and sounds like a monstrous 100 Watt amp. I remember just staring at the thing wondering how it could produce such powerful tones! The Micro Dark really is a game changer.” Specifications Channels 1 Output 20 Watts Valves 1 x 12AX7/ECC83 Speaker Outs 1 x 8-16 Ohm Features High gain preamp, shape control, fully buffered effects loop, CabSim loaded headphone output Finish Matte black finish, steel chassis Dimensions (W x H x D) 16.5 x 13.5 x 9.5 cm (6.5 x 5.31 x 3.74 In) Weight 0.78kg (1.72lb) See the Micro Dark product demonstration

LAS VEGAS – Legendary singer, songwriter and guitarist John Fogerty will bring back the golden age of rock during Peace, Love and Creedence, an eight-show residency at The Venetian Theatre inside The Venetian Las Vegas, Jan. 8 – 23, 2016.
Produced by AEG Live, Peace, Love and Creedence will celebrate the music and culture of the 1960s, with a special focus on the year 1969. Through exclusive footage and personal stories, the intimate show will feature a behind-the-scenes look at the pivotal year Fogerty wrote and recorded three separate Creedence Clearwater Revival albums including Bayou Country, Green River and Willy and the Poor Boys.
“Peace, love and Vegas! I’m excited to be coming to The Venetian and bringing my ‘1969’ show for you all,” exclaimed Fogerty. “We are going to be rockin’ my Creedence Clearwater Revival songs along with many more. We’ll have some new things added to the show, too. Hope you all can come and help us rock it up in Vegas come January!”
Attendees will enjoy performances of iconic Creedence Clearwater Revival classics as well as Fogerty’s solo hits including “Fortunate Son,” “Centerfield,” “Down on the Corner,” “Have You Ever Seen the Rain” and many more. Performances will take place Jan. 8, 9, 13, 15, 16, 20, 22 and 23, 2016.
“We are proud to welcome another iconic musician to The Venetian family with the addition of John Fogerty,” said George Markantonis, president and chief operating officer of The Venetian, The Palazzo and Sands Expo. “His music helped shape a generation and his fans will get a truly intimate show when he performs inside The Venetian Theatre.”
With a career spanning more than 50 years, Fogerty is hailed as one of the most influential musicians in rock history. Fogerty wrote, sang and produced numerous classic hits including “Born on the Bayou,” “Green River,” “Proud Mary” and “Bad Moon Rising,” which lead him to be named one of the 100 Greatest Guitarists (No. 40), 100 Greatest Songwriters (No. 40) and 100 Greatest Singers (No. 72) by Rolling Stone Magazine. Earning induction to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Songwriters Hall of Fame, he now adds author to his long list of accomplishments with the release of his highly-anticipated memoir Fortunate Son: My Life, My Music, which will be available Tuesday, Oct. 6. The autobiographical account takes readers through the highs and lows of Fogerty’s life and musical career as a member of Creedence Clearwater Revival and as a solo artist.
