Mika Tyyskä: Mr. Fastfinger demos Hughes & Kettner Tubemeister deluxe 40
Here's a quick demo review of Tubemeister Deluxe 40, the brand new amp from Hughes & Kettner. Got this amp yesterday. Very very excited testing the tone. I've never been into recording direct signals. they never sounded good to me. until now. This new Redbox is magical, the air!!! The tone sounds big, sweet, creamy .... I love it how it responses to the playing. The direct tone sound so real. Clean is beautiful, has more headroom too. Crunch is incredibly tight and punchy. I love how the lead channel stays clear no matter how much you got gain.
Thank you to my friends from Hughes & Kettner for sending me this amp. I'm honoured. I love it!
My life just got so much more easier :)
The tone here was recorded w the direct redbox line tone. No mics. Very very little eq on Cubase, then added some reverb. Damn getting a tone was never this easy. Future looks bright!
