Mid paced melodic rock backing track in the style of Mr Big.

Section A riffs between D5 and G5, D natural minor would work with this but the Bbl in this scale will clash so if you leave it out you get the D minor pentatonic scale with an added 6th.

Section B progression uses Bb in the bass line so the full D natural minor scale can be used and sound melodic.

Section C goes between C5 and D5 with G in the bass for both so back to the D minor pentatonic.

The mid section D is a one chord vamp on Dm11 so to add some variation you could use D dorian.
