Here's my cover of "Jewel".
This wonderful tune is featuring on Marty Friedman's "Dragon's Kiss" album(1988).
The song was written by Marty and Jason Becker and they both share guitars on the tune.
Of course, my attempt was to use the guitar 'vocabulary' here (bending notes for example) on the bass guitar.
Nowadays, lead bass players are legion, i hope i won't have comments like "you should play the guitar" :):):)
The interpretation was , of course, really important...
Finally, thanx to Marty Friedman (with whom i had the honor to share the tour bus with during the last Guitar Universe tour !) and Jason Becker (whom i'll meet soon (january 2013/ after Namm Show;) for inspiring me for so many years. Meeting GIANTS !
