Background:
Trace Bundy was born in Austin, and moved to the Buena Vista. He started playing guitar when he was 11 and bought a $10 acoustic guitar.He started by picking up a guitar magazine and learning a song by Metallica. Shortly after, he learned how to play some chords and songs like Johnny B. Goode and various Def Leppard hits...although he points out that he was not a fan of Heavy Metal.

He was self taught and became very interested in why music sounds good and why different notes and chords seem to work together. Later in college he took music theory where his original ideas were proved correct.
