In response to comments I've done some spring cleaning on the web site. I removed some of the javascript widgets, pushed links into posts,reduced the size of the background image.
Also I've added labels to posts, it may be that all items will be unique posts rather than aggregated in a single post. This means you would link to a guitar player by using the labels. eg for Paul Gilbert posts:
http://truthinshredding.blogspot.com/search/label/Paul%20Gilbert
The blog should be quicker to load now... watch this space for a new design... at some point.
