INTRODUCING ADRIAN ENGLISH aka 7 SHREDR


On track # 9 on our upcoming cd SHREDDING ACROSS THE WORLD...VOLUME TWO we have the talents of THE FUTURE DEVESTATION MOVEMENT and their shred opus FLIGHT OF THE BLUE PHOENIX. One half of this shred team is none other than ADRIAN ENGLISH aka 7 SHREDR.

Adrian has been playing for 24 years..honing his skills through lessons with FRANK PAULINO, playing in bands(since he was 13), competing in guitar contests, and teaching. Along the way he has played with Jamie Borden, Mike Varney, Tommy Paris(of Britney Fox), Mike Poe(of Apochrypha), and Chris Storey(of ALL SHALL PERISH). He counts George Lynch, Tony Macalpine, Shawn Lane, Paul Gilbert, Michael Lee Firkins, and Jason Becker as influences.

In 1993, Adrian was profiled in GUITAR WORLD magazine in Mike Varney's(Shrapnel Records) spotlight column along with Michael Romeo of Symphony X.

In 1994, Adrian was a top 30 qualifier in the search to replace Zack Wylde in Ozzy Osbournes band.

In 2002 Adrian was a regional qualifier in the 2002 GUITARMAGEDDON contest sponsored by GUITAR CENTER.

Right now Adrian's weapons of choice(his gear) are the Mesa Boogie triple rectifier, A.R.T. multi-verb,Berhinger efx proccessor,2 Marshall 1960 lead 4x12's, Ibanez 7string universe,Ibanez 7string rg,Ibanez 6string rg550,Ibanez limited steve vai euphoria electric acoustic, first edition crate bluevoodoo 120 95'series.

In Adrian's words "my objectives to tour with an established metal band either as a hired gun or a core writer, to establish a new project w/my current drummer chas, take F.D.M.(future devastation movement)w/ pete pachio to the touring level.,oh yeah to finally get a full page spread in every guitar magazine in the world!"
