Background:
Danny Jones is a smooth rock guitarist from Northern California. He started playing guitar from the age of 12 and is a childhood friend Larry Lalonde of Primus, who inspired him to play guitar.
He took his new found obsession with the guitar practising and getting lessons with a local guitarist. He began to play jazz standards, classical and country guitar. He then went on to study with Joe Satriani. As with other guitarists, Joe had a major impact on his playing and composition in particular.
In the 90's he won the "Best of the Bay" contest two years in a row and has also appeared in Guitar World and Guitar for the practicing musician magazines. Check out his web site for a more complete bio.
