Andy James: talks guitar gear

Andy JamesOkay, i seem to be getting alot of peeps asking what gear they should get, mainly guitars. All i can say is, the way i set my guitars is different from probably wot most people like, so is subjective. I like ESP because they fit me perfectly with the way I play but ive had a long road to get to that point. Even now, i change my pick everyday because im an inconsistant nincanpoop who likes to moan and groan about my playing lol and tone, so like 99% of gits players, im the same. Never happy lol :))

Andy James Nah, low action is horrible. No tone, tones of timing issues loadsa noise. Great for tapping but anything forget it lol (for me i mean) i have the action on my 7 at a reasonable action but my 6's are always higher, much higher really. Only other i've played who has it like i do is Martin Miller. Glass picks? Ive not heard of this! Any good?

Andy James Ultex jazz 3 was something i tried, if only they made it more like Paul Gilbert Ibanez size but not jazz 3 XL size, i reckon that would work :)
