Rare live recording from Gabe Walkers, Iowa City, March 3, 1976 of the New Tony Williams Lifetime performing "'Inspirations of Love" from their Million Dollar Legs album. Featuring Alan Pasqua-keyboards, Tony Newton-bass, Tony Williams-drums, and Allan Holdsworth-guitar. Holdsworth left the band shortly after MLD was recorded and was replaced for the subsequent tour by guitarist Marlon Graves. Live recordings of the Holdsworth lineup from this period are scarce. Holdsworth's solo starts here at about 3:30. By the time he hits 5:20 the boy is SICK! This is NOT Marlon Graves playing guitar, it is Allan Holdsworth, confirmed by Lifetime keyboardist Alan Pasqua and bassist Tony Newton. THOSE OF YOU WHO GRADUATED FROM MI and BERKLEE WHO CONTINUE TO SPECULATE THAT THIS IS NOT HOLDSWORTH NEED TO GO BACK TO SCHOOL! :) You can do this by listening to the entire gig, which is posted at:
